Hi there! My name is Maya, the founder of Tranquila Swimwear.

My journey to sustainable swimwear began with a simple frustration: I couldn't find any affordable swimwear that met my standards for both fit and environmental responsibility. Every time I searched, I either found very cheap bikinis that lacked quality & transparency from the brand OR sustainable options that were priced at $120 per piece.

I wanted to create swimwear that didn't break the bank or compromise on fit nor the environment. So, I started Tranquila Swimwear and made it my focus to create swimwear that put an emphasis on great fit and fabrics that are good for the planet (and you).

All of our swimwear is made from sustainable fabrics: Amni Soul Eco® and Ecosense®. These fabrics are also OEKO-TEX® certified which ensures that fabrics are free from harmful substances and produced responsibly.

We are a fully woman-run brand. We design our bikinis in Toronto, Canada and craft them in Brazil.
